The 1st edition is already history. And a very nice story finally made reality.

Teams from different countries, divided into 3 categories, competed against each other to take the trophy home, completing an unforgettable weekend. Breathing the atmosphere from the hotel, feeling the nerves before the finals, and then seeing them celebrate with the trophies and medals in absolute sportsmanship fills us with satisfaction.

Seeing boys and girls from different parts of the world enjoying the sun of Marbella, helping to clean and its beaches and landscapes (collecting 500 kg of dried pine leaves collected in the Natural Park of Cabopino) or visiting the luxurious enclave of Puerto Banus, always with a smile on their face and with an admirable predisposition, was a unique sensation.

And all this with soccer as a meeting point.

An experience that, of course, we will repeat in 2022. And for that we already have a date: between 27 and 30 October we will celebrate the second edition of the SWFC. Marbella will once again be the epicenter of soccer for schools, with a new exciting championship and activities aimed at developing their knowledge and training.

Dont make plans from October 27th to 30th. Only 48 schools in 3 different categories will be able to travel to Marbella to compete to be the first winner of the SFWC.

The main objective of the championship is to provide a unique school trip, where kids live an unforgettable experience. During 4 days, Marbella will be the epicenter of one of the main new and complete sport event ever, where the best schools of the world will be represented.

A great party with football as the main character, all surrounded with incredible surprises.

From October 27th to 30th, 2022, the School Football World Cup will be a dream come true and will turn Marbella into the capital of children’s football.

An event that will bring together, in its first edition, in the heart of the Costa del Sol, over 1000 children from more than 30 different countries.

Sport is important but is not everything. While the championship is taking place, the BTC Foundation will organize activities aimed at developing the knowledge and training of young people.

Awareness of the sustainable environment is, again, our great objective in this second edition.

Different activities will include the reforestation of forests or the cleaning of beaches. We will also promote a competition for innovative ideas that encourage the development of all these initiatives.

In addition to the 4 days tournament, we will offer the possibility to combine the participation with other additional activities before or after the tournament:

• Visits to unique places such as Málaga, Granada, Seville or Córdoba.
• Soccer training.
• Clinics with the Real Madrid Foundation in Valdebebas (Madrid).

On our side, everything is already organized. We are just counting the days for the championship to begin.
